Services and accommodations
We handle all requests on an individual basis. We work closely with students and faculty in determining the most appropriate and reasonable accommodations. The requests are valid for one semester and must be renewed each semester.

Before making a request, students should familiarize themselves with their rights and responsibilities.
Accommodations may include but are not limited to:
- alternative testing format
- assistive technology
- extended test-taking time
- hearing interpreters
- note takers
- quiet, distraction-free testing environment
- readers
- scribes
Once accommodations have been granted, students must obtain an official letter from this office. Letters are valid on a semester-by-semester basis. The director for disability support services reserves the right to request additional documentation to support a request.
